Explore Uganda through our tailor-made circuits, designed by Charles and his team from Kampala. Each itinerary is crafted to reveal the Pearl of Africa in all its contrasts: tracking mountain gorillas in Bwindi Forest, safari in Queen Elizabeth's savannas, descending the Nile at Murchison Falls, and meeting communities in the southwestern highlands. Whether you travel as a family, couple, or with friends, our circuits adapt to your pace and preferences. From a 10-day discovery circuit to a grand 3-week journey combining Kidepo and Rwenzori, find the itinerary that suits you and travel with peace of mind with an English-speaking local agency.
Choose your trip in Uganda
How to choose your Uganda circuit?
The choice first depends on how many regions you wish to combine. A stay of 13 to 17 days allows you to visit Bwindi for gorillas, Queen Elizabeth for savanna and the Kazinga cruise, then Murchison for falls and giraffes. To include Kidepo in the north, the Rwenzori or an extended trek on Mount Elgon, plan for 18 days or more. Internal distances are long, expect an average of six hours of driving between two major stops, and we adjust travel duration to preserve your observation days.
Different circuit types
Our cultural circuits highlight the Buganda and Tooro kingdoms, Karamojong villages in the north and Bugisu coffee cooperatives at Sipi. Adventure itineraries combine Mount Elgon or Rwenzori trekking, rafting at Jinja on the Nile and savanna camps. Family trips prioritize short distances, Ziwa sanctuary for rhinoceros, the Kazinga cruise and child-friendly lodges from age eight for primate observation.
What is the best season?
The two dry seasons, December to February and June to September, offer the most stable conditions for gorilla tracking and safaris. Temperatures range between 18 and 28 degrees depending on altitude, with cool nights around Bwindi and Kabale. The rainy seasons, March to May and October to November, remain practicable: brief showers in late afternoon, less crowded parks, more affordable prices. July and August require gorilla permit reservations six to eight months in advance.
